The Acute Care & Anaesthetics Society (ACAS) brings medicine to life through clinical workshops, study skill nights and talks from doctors working at the frontline of acute care. Whether you're a first-year ready to put classroom concepts into clinical practise or a final-year planning your future, ACAS is your opportunity to build confidence and explore some of medicine's most exciting specialties!

Membership Types:

1. Ordinary Membership (Enrolled Curtin Students)

• Benefits:
  • Prioritised attendance at events
  • Discounted event tickets
  • Ability to vote at General Meetings (i.e AGM's & SGM's) and have a say in how the club is run
  • Eligibility to nominate for positions in the ACAS committee
• How to join: 
  • Online: $5.50 (includes online booking fee)
  • In-person: $5.00
    • Want to pay using cash, a Guild Club Voucher* or EFTPOS/ Pay-pass? Complete the EOI and pay $0 upfront now. We'll meet you in person to collect payment and confirm your membership

2. Associate Membership (Non Curtin Students)

• Who can join
  • Non-Curtin students, including those from other universities, Curtin College, Curtin staff or general public. You can enjoy the benefits of being a member of our club, attending our outings, but you are not able to vote or be an Officer of the Society. But that's okay!
• How to join:
  • Online: $10.00 (includes online booking fee)

• What's a club voucher & where do I get one?
  • Curtin-enrolled students can collect 2x $5 club vouchers from the Curtin Student Guild each year. To collect, visit a Guild membership booth during O-Week, or Guild Reception year-round (Building 106F, Bentley campus), with a copy of your Curtin Student ID.
